Here are some of my most recent works. The portfolio includes art installations, photography, video, performance, design, publications and art event management. It sounds like a collection of quite a few things, however I find that most projects flow seamlessly across disciplines.
I am an art and design practitioner, teacher and researcher, working in Wales, United Kingdom.
I have been teaching in higher education since 2007, teaching on fine art, photography, graphic design, advertising and film courses. I specialise in digital communications across these disciplines. I teach students concept development, studio practice, practical skills, history and theory.
My practical work has been exhibited in many internationally significant venues, such as the Victoria & Albert museum in London, Bonington gallery in Nottingham, collaborations at Kinetica in London and Arnolfini in Bristol. I have organised and run art exhibitions and events, recently 'Mind is the World Knowing Itself' at the Bonington gallery in Nottingham.
I am currently completing my PhD at Cardiff Metropolitan University. I have published papers and recently co-edited, co-worte and co-published a book titled 'Design Directions: The Relationship Between Humans and Technology,' which is now available on Amazon.
